Melaine Dalibert is a French composer/pianist, has been increasingly recognized for his compositional piano works as well as his interpretations of works by Gérard Pesson, Giuliano D’Angiolini, Tom Johnson, Peter Garland and many others. This latest composition takes its title from the feeling of appeasement and resolution that it carries: the serene and deep basses come to color a calm ostinato in the medium of the piano, oscillating and fragile, offering a harmonic landscape tinged with nostalgia and hope. The track was taken from the album Shimmering (Ici, d'ailleurs).
Melaine Dalibert will soon announce the release of his new album "Magic Squares" on FLAU.
Phantom Train and White Sands and…and…and…ok…shit…every Flippin’ track is a masterclass in how to write a track.
Like next-level George Winston.
Not just good.
