On a cold winter day I strolled over a flea market in Chinatown New York. My eyes were catched by a colourful moving toy and I got fascinated by its steady and whirling movement.
I felt I should create music that is connected to this moving picture but forgot about it soon.
When I got home to Berlin, I checked some old recordings on tapes - a session I did with Aki Ueda on sitar in my studio Klavierraum many years ago.
After a while it felt suddenly as if i found a missing part of a puzzle- I put the music on the movie of the moving toy and found it perfect- two things so different in time and space fitted like a glove.
