"Home Alone was developed from a jam session I did in the midst of the covid quarantine. I had just bought a new synthesizer for a film score I was working on, the Korg DW 8000, and I recorded a bunch of sounds and loops with it. The main melody of the track also came from playing around with the DW, but later on, I decided it should be played on an acoustic instrument, with a special warmth and depth to it. I wanted the melody to carry the heart of the track through the scenery created by the recurring chord and other noises.
I have previously worked with Kumi's recordings when I remixed her track "Roll". I knew her violin playing had that touch and sensitivity I was looking for, so naturally, I asked her to take part in the piece. She contributed a beautiful fluidity and lightness and shared my vision in unexpected ways." - Zoe Polanski

A great place to discover underrated ambient artists, and tracks from some of my favourites (and to support displaced Ukranian families). A warm, soulful, diverse hour. ajpoet

This has got to be one of the best albums I've ever listened to. It is the place I run to when in need of comfort. It is ever present on my turntable. Thank you both for creating this wonderful piece of art. Also beautiful cover art by Cynthia. Great job! deathcabbage
